Place a small dab of essential oil on your wrist or palm.


Bring your hand to your nose.


Close your eyes.


Inhale slowly and mentally name the notes you notice—floral, citrus, earthy, woodsy.


Repeat for three slow breaths.


This is more than aromatherapy.
